Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic in a one-of-a-kind skating spectacular at Canadian Tire Centre

OTTAWA – A century of classic Disney stars are taking to the ice to share memories, laughs and excitement in Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic. The magnificent celebration is coming to Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre Wednesday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind skating spectacular go on sale Monday, June 10, at 10 a.m.
More than 60 of Disney’s captivating characters and their unforgettable stories come to life in this commemorative celebration, produced by Feld Entertainment. In this lavish ice show, everyone’s favorite sweethearts, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, take audiences on a fun-filled adventure, sharing memories with Disney friends including Goofy, Donald Duck, the beloved Disney Princesses, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Mulan, Timon, Pumbaa, Stitch, Nemo and The Incredibles.
Audiences will not want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime ice spectacular that features beautifully choreographed figure skating to Academy Award®-winning songs When You Wish Upon a Star, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, Beauty and the Beast, Under the Sea, Can You Feel the Love Tonight and more toe-tapping songs that will inspire fond Disney memories. Dazzling sets, memorable characters, beautiful costumes and exciting special effects will transport audiences through decades of Disney’s most beloved tales.
Tickets for Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic can be purchased by visitingwww.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, Ottawa Festivals and at the Canadian Tire Centre box office. Tickets are $70 (rinkside seats), $52, $32, $23 and $15 for all shows. All tickets for opening night (excluding rinkside and VIP seats) are only $15. Prices include all taxes but exclude CRF and convenience charges.
Groups of 15 or more will receive $5 off each ticket for the Friday and Saturday evening performances, as well as the Sunday afternoon performance. In addition, tickets for groups of 15 or more for opening night or for the Thursday evening performance are just $15. All school group tickets for Thursday’s 10:30 a.m. show are $12. Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic will perform nine shows over the course of five days from Wednesday, Feb. 19, to Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, as follows:
Wednesday, Feb. 19 – 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 20 – 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 21 – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 22 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and a 7 p.m. French performance
Sunday, Feb. 23 – 11:30 a.m. and a 3:30 p.m. French performance
Capital Tickets is the only authorized ticket vendor for Scotiabank Place events. Tickets purchased through unauthorized ticket vendors are subject to cancellation and purchasers may be denied access to the event. Only those tickets purchased through authorized vendors are guaranteed seating.
