The world’s premier figure skating production, Investors Group Stars on Ice presented by Lindt, is proud to announce that Canada’s top Olympic medal contenders at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, will headline the 2014 nationwide tour this spring. As always, this year’s production will showcase the athleticism and grace that define the sport, through performances by some of its finest Canadian Olympic talent. The tour will arrive in Ottawa on Sunday, April 27, for a 4 p.m. performance at Canadian Tire Centre.
Three-time and reigning World Champion Patrick Chan, a favourite to become the first Canadian man to win the men’s Olympic gold, and defending Olympic Dance Champions Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will highlight a spectacular cast for this year’s Investors Group Stars on Ice presented by Lindt. Joining them will be four-time World Champion and four-time Canadian National Champion Kurt Browning; 2010 Olympic Bronze Medallist Joannie Rochette; and many more. Investors Group Stars on Ice presented by Lindt will be made into a one-hour CBC television special to be aired in the fall of 2014.
